Who is Martha's?
A fine food and beverage caterer, creating memorable events for over three decades.
We are not your typical caterers. We do amazing things with food
. . . and service!
It all began over 35 years ago at Martha's Vineyard, an ambitious neighborhood store with a mission to provide the best selection, value, and service to a wider community of wine and food lovers. Martha's quickly gained a quiet reputation for just that: West Michigan's finest purveyor of selection, value, and service in specialty wines, beers, liquors and gourmet – especially locally sourced – groceries. Over the decades, Martha's growing reputation for exceptional beverage catering services led to a natural customer demand to expand into food catering. Consequently, a little over fifteen years ago, Martha's Catering was formed to answer our customers' call for an elevated tier of food catering services, and we have not looked back.
We at Martha's Catering are grateful that our customers recognize our passionate pursuit of excellence in all our catering services – food and beverage alike – and that our stated goal is to exceed customer expectations. We are also most fortunate to have built a strong team of talented chefs and event planners who are passionate about serving great food and creating memorable moments. At each event, this collaboration between our customers and our passionate, professional, and problem-solving catering team does just that . . . create memories.
Chances are good that you recently experienced our food or beverage catering service at a wedding, corporate, or social event. If so, we thank you and look forward to serving you again soon. If not, let's get better acquainted so we can assist you in making memorable your next culinary event.
"I can’t imagine how we could have made everything come together without your help. Our families, particularly my mom, are so grateful for your help, not to mention your patience. I feel confident there’s no one better to work with for planning a family’s very first wedding. I’d recommend you and Martha’s to anyone. Thank you sincerely."

Jason has been with Martha's Catering since the beginning. An old school chef who boils chicken bones to make soup, butchers his own meat, and makes salad dressings from scratch. There is no detail too obscure for Jason when it comes to quality and freshness of ingredients. Customizing a menu for each event small and large that delivers that same kitchen-freshness to your guests requires timing, skill, and Jason's years of experience that is unparalleled in the catering world of West Michigan. We are lucky to have Jason in our kitchen, and so are you if you dine with us!

Along with her natural passion for the food and beverage industry, Cheri's business management studies at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan equipped her as a skilled manager in ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded throughout the planning and execution of each catered event. Martha's Catering is fortunate to have added Cheri to the team. Her experience and skill at managing fine food and beverage service from chef's kitchen to guest's table is like poetry in motion. What Our Customers Are Saying
"Just a quick note to tell you what a wonderful job your catering service did for lunch today at Rockford Construction. Rockford hosted a meeting of the West Michigan Environmental Leadership Network, and Martha's did the catering. The topic today was farm-to-table activities including Fair Food initiatives. Martha's did a tremendous job using local produce, cheeses, and meats. A number of people specifically asked about the catering, given the use of local food and its freshness and good taste. I just wanted you to know that there were a couple of dozen community leaders who were very impressed with your work. I even heard someone at my table say, 'I should have guessed it would have been Martha's!'"
